Making every effort to help others is a Bodhisattva practice.
A practitioner of the Mahayana Buddhism
Should walk on the way to enlightenment by such practices.
In practicing Buddhism, one should not live under the fear of the retribution of karma.
Instead, one should beware of the creation of karma.
It is just as when one tries to build a promising career,
One should not always worry about the possible results of one’s failure in building the career.
Rather, one should be careful about the possible causes which might lead to one’s failure in such a commitment.
